Every custom piece is different, so your final price is based on the size of the artwork, amount of coverage, level of detail, materials, preparation, and time involved.  Think of these five levels as choosing how much Mandy magic you want!

HOW COMMISSIONS WORK

1. DREAM IT UP
Start with your idea!  Maybe you have a favorite handbag that needs a MandyLand makeover, a denim jacket you want completely transformed, a sentimental piece you want to preserve, or an idea that’s never been done before.Send me whatever inspires you.  You don’t have to know exactly what you want. You can simply tell me what you’re imagining, and we can develop the concept together.

2. FILL OUT THE INQUIRY FORM
Once you’re ready, fill out the MandyLand Custom-Made Wearable Art Inquiry Form.  I’ll need some basic information about your project. The more information you give me, the better I can understand your vision.

3. SEND ME PHOTOS OF YOUR ITEM
Please send clear photos of the item you want painted.   Let me know if the item is a handbag, jacket, jeans, shoes, leather piece, pillowcase, etc.  I need to know the size, what it is made from. What size is it and is it new or used?
​This information helps me determine the appropriate preparation, materials, painting method and pricing.

4. I REVIEW YOUR PROJECT
Once I receive your form, photos and inspiration, I’ll review everything and determine what your project requires

5. YOU RECEIVE YOUR CUSTOM QUOTE
I’ll send you a personalized quote based on your actual project.  Because every commission is different, the prices listed for each MandyLand level are starting prices.  Your quote will reflect the artwork you actually want—not a generic package.  If your idea falls between levels, I’ll create a custom quote for you

6. APPROVE YOUR COMMISSION
Once you’re happy with the concept, scope and pricing, we’ll officially book your project.
Your commission isn’t placed into my studio schedule until the required deposit and booking details are completed.

7. I CREATE YOUR ONE-OF-A-KIND PIECE
This is where the magic happens. I prepare your item, develop the artwork, sketch when needed, paint, layer, detail, allow appropriate drying and curing time, and complete the finishing process.  You’re not buying something mass-produced.
I’m creating an original piece of art specifically for you.

8. YOUR MANDYLAND ORIGINAL IS READY
Once your piece is complete and fully cured, I’ll arrange your pickup, delivery or shipping details depending on the project.  Then you get to take home something nobody else in the world has.

    • Submitting this form is an inquiry only and does not officially book my commission.
    • The prices shown are starting prices. My final quote will be based on the size, detail, coverage, materials, preparation, complexity, and creative time required for my project.
    • Mandy may recommend a different MandyLand Art Level based on the scope and complexity of my project.
    • Mandy may contact me with additional questions or request additional photos, measurements, or information before providing a final quote.
    • Not every item, material, design, deadline, or project can be accepted.
    • If my project is accepted, I will receive my final quote, Custom Commission Agreement, and deposit/payment link.
    • My commission is not officially booked and work will not begin until my agreement has been signed and the required deposit/payment has been received
